Finished delivery at McLane in Temple and now at McLane in Fort Worth. Not picking up here, but we deliver here enough that I can snag one of their parking spots without question lol. Not sure if the weird middle of the street parking is private property or public parking, but it is convenient. I know the parking right next to the guard shack is private.
Picking up in Arlington tomorrow at 14:00 and delivering in Holts Summit, MO at 0900 Friday. Will put this weeks mile tally up to 3450 or so

Ha!!! You do the same thing I do and borrow staging areas at other warehouses. That's playing the game right lol....you picking up at Biagi Bros in Arlington?
I'm sitting in Monte Vista at Spud Seller to load in the morning. This load is going to Milton, PA, maybe they'll have go all the way with it. Travis will probably split the miles if he leaves me on it. I'll be somewhere close to 3k for the weekThrasher28, Peace_Maker and dwells40 Thank this. -
Gotta love those Climate Miles...bryan21384 Thanks this.

Oh hell yeah I love those Climate Miles man. When the freight is popping, 3k weekly is definitely a way of life here.

Load info says CH Guenther, googling address says Premier Frozen Foods or Sigma Foods -- one gets much better reviews than the other lol. Im sure you can guess which. It's a -10 load, so I'm going to hope for the better. And definitely agree on the borrowing parking. Saving 20 miles can make an hour or two difference if DFW traffic gets crazy. On this load, which is 580 miles through DFW, through red-light hell in OK, and then through the hills of MO to get up near Jefferson City for a next morning delivery, it's about the only option I had.
Hopefully they let you take your load all the way to PA -- nice getting to spend 3-4 days not worrying about pickups and deliveries. Gives flexibility on how you want to work your hours a little.
For me, I'm excited about trailer tail day
Peace_Maker and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Ha!!!! Me too!!!!! I've got 3801 and they took the tails off of that one. I'm celebrating coming back all the way across Colorado. I got here last night, and they're still loading me. Load wasn't ready yet. I got on the scale, full tanks fuel, and if they put the entire order on, I would have been over gross by 320 lbs. If I knew for sure that I was keeping it, I probably would have ran it. I could burn that in fuel easily. Cutting by a couple of pallets won't hurt anything.Peace_Maker and Thrasher28 Thank this.

They’re taking the tails off?
Peace_Maker, bryan21384 and motocross25 Thank this. -
Unfortunately not lol. They've sent a handful of reminders and motivational speeches about using them though. I've always used them if they worked, but can't say I've been heartbroken if I get a trailer without or a trailer with broken ones that should stay closed lol.
I like the new trailer specs with the little aero pieces on the corners and not the giant monstrosities.Peace_Maker, Bumper, Lumper Humper and 1 other person Thank this. -
If anyone gets a delivery for PFS Brands/Champs Chicken in Holt's Summit, you can overnight park on the street outside of the facility. Saw it on the Google reviews and they were correct. They're basically on a dead-end road and no signage saying otherwise.
Peace_Maker, Bumper and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Some of the older trailers that had tails they couldn't fix, they just took them off. I think that was the case with the trailer I have. You can see the brackets still lolPeace_Maker, Bumper and Lumper Humper Thank this.
