Picked up empty totes a few times as a backhaul from different places. Maybe they also ship loaded liquid totes, which would require one. Definitely won't need your endorsement regularly.

When they asked in orientation I thought they were a common occurance. I was about to start going over the endorsement material again since I havent hauled anything that required it since I got it.
Peace_Maker, Thrasher28 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Ended up dropping my milk load at Craftsmen, picked up a load going to New Century and just got empty. I was fully expecting a Greenville reload or a load to Bowling Green to just take through the house. Ended up lucking out and got a 20,000 pound reload from here tomorrow morning. Going all the way to Manassas, VA.
Fuel stop is set for Effingham and Carlisle, so gonna have to get approval for an audible to Hagerstown unless they actually want me detouring all the way there instead of 70. Think they might have just been thinking of Palmyra when they typed that
I'll take the 1100 weekend miles thoughPeace_Maker, bryan21384, wulfman75 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That is a weird fuel stop. They must have routed you to junp on 81 once you leave Carlisle or something strange. Carlisle PA when you're going to Manassas is very strange. The only fuel stop I've ever used in VA was Greenville, I think. Exit 213 on 81 I believe, but you'll be way outta route for that one. I'm sitting in Waco getting unloaded now. I think I have the oldest dry van in the fleet(1136). This trailer has been through some things lolPeace_Maker and Thrasher28 Thank this.

They ended up sending me a London, OH fuel stop. Guessing it'll be Carlisle after reloading.
Hopefully you can get reloaded out of Waco today and make it back for a 34 or another load this weekend. Maybe youll get really lucky and get sent towards SC. Those older dry vans get a little rough. Seems like they ditch the reefers when they get old enough to be a liability, but those dry vans just keep getting patched and repaired lol.
I've got 3625 myself, but luckily this Sauer load isn't refrigerated. Not that it's not a fine trailer, but still not as much peace of mind with the reefer unit compared to a 40xxPeace_Maker and bryan21384 Thank this. -
I had a backhaul that came out of somewhere in wi that went to sauer in new century ks. It was liquid in drums i believe. That was the only one I hauled in 6 yrs there that required the tanker endorsement.Peace_Maker, bryan21384 and DreadfulDay Thank this.

Chris told me once in the past that once the reefers get to 10 years old, by regulation they gotta get rid of them. Those 36 and 38 series may have a few years more on them. 1136 gotta be more than 10 years old, but it's surprisingly a good trailer! I had to deadhead to Orange for some rubber, then to the house til Monday.Peace_Maker, Thrasher28, motocross25 and 1 other person Thank this.
