Thank you. I'm going to head that way. I just got told by day shift pilot employees that it was OK for me to park by their dumpster. Now some crack head looking guy on night shift is saying I have to move even though I'm not blocking anything...

Yeah, that Pilot's trash. Never any parking any time of day. As long as you weren't blocking anyone, I don't get why they care that much.

And also, you can check in early at Gordon. It's not the fastest place, but sometimes they'll at least get you a door early. Especially if you're an early morning appointment.

His reasoning didn't even make sense. He said I can't park there because if someone were to park beside me then it's a problem blocking the exit lanes... Like okay so I'm not blocking the road at all. I'm parked in a zone blocked off by trash cans where no one is driving anyway. But he wants me to move because someone else might block the road?

My appt is at 9am how early is early for check in? I'd check in right now if they would unload me lol

I took it in stride. It was Rich that sent the message. I've been working with Travis for the last 4 plus years so Rich really don't know me that well. I couldn't even tell you what he looks like honestly. I couldn't even tell you waht the majority of the folks in the office look like. They definitely got some new faces in there, so it probably is a tight ship if Kenny is working dispatch. Them sending you to Lebanon ended up being better it seems. You got some decent deadhead out of that. Maybe you reload right out of there. I'm in Waco about to pick up for Pageland, SC. Drops Sunday afternoon at around 4 pm.

They told me to check in upon arrival the last time I went there. It messed me up because it didn't register in their system for some reason and I got delayed. Other drivers have said that you'll get unloaded early. I'd go head and check in now if you can.

I have gotten unloaded early there before. You can park in the staging area and take a ten before your appointment.

If I do that will they give me some sort of time frame? If they won't actually unload me tonight I'd rather not make them aware that I'm on the property if there's a chance they will kick me out.

I've heard other drivers get off loaded early. Most likely they have your next load pre-planned. In that case, you'd just drive to the next shipper. The only one where you wouldn't find parking is if they had you pick up beer in Frankfort. I do understand your logic though. That does make sense.

I'm starting to think I should've went ahead and checked in at midnight like you said. I checked in at 745 for my 900 appt and I'm still sitting in the staging area at 10. Edit: 1200 unloading began

Yeah, it's rough there sometimes. Seems to be better on Mondays. Probably from there not being any delays or backups
