Man groceries is a good thing. I got some groceries yesterday, though if I knew that I was getting a new ride, I would have shopped differently lol

Yea that driver wasn't happy with himself. He hasn't been here very long. I told him that the next time he is at the yard that he should have a conversation with his fleet manager and give assurances that it won't happen again. I gave him that for advice cuz he seemed adamant that he isn't the kind a guy to screw the pooch like that as a norm.
Lumper Humper Thanks this. -
Well there will be more shopping trips in the future. We don't shop much differently than when we had a 670. We just arranged stuff different. We put as much food stuff as we can in the fridge. The cooler is mainly used for beverages and milk. I'd actually like to get a smaller cooler one of these days. That way it would use up less floor space.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

The dispatchers may put him in the doghouse for a short while. They will have him taking loads to O'Fallon lol....you told him right though. Turning miles and being efficient is a big must here. I wonder if its safe to say he is relatively inexperienced like under 5 yearsLumper Humper Thanks this.

He said he'd been out here for 10yrs. It don't matter how long one has been out here. No matter how long I'm always learning and still subject to mishaps. Maybe just not as often as in my younger days. We're dropping an hooking at palmyra. Gonna head to edwardsville do the same an come right back to palmyra.bryan21384 and Lumper Humper Thank this.

Eh, sometimes shizz happens. If it means more long runs for us though vs him then hell yeah.

Yea true. They just scratched our easy plan. Now we gotta rescue a load here on the turnpike and live unload it in hazelwood in the morning cuz the guy doesn't have the hours available to be there by 14:00 tomorrow. I don't get why we run into this so much. They've never given me anything to do that my log book couldn't handle. The only exception has been when i was short on hours due to running off a recap and even they just updated my customers with my eta.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

You are right about that..I'm certainly subject to mishaps myself.....it looks like Hershey starting to pick up again....it was so dead in Edwardsville last week.....this was what I saw there the other dayLumper Humper Thanks this.
