Pulled in in NY today.
Dot makes 0 sense.
Didn’t care that there was no Ifta or hut sticker on truck. Wasn’t even interested in seeing the temporary permits.
Only concern and what I got cited for.
No paper longs sheets.
Yeah I forgot them and I should’ve of but come on isn’t some of the other stuff more important.
Got notified they had a brand new lease trailer for me in Otay mesa.
Only catch I have to pick it up by end of week. Not going to make it.
Want to try po some more while looking for a trailer to buy.
Dat has been my go to for po, loads on there I don’t see on the cloud app.
Dat also contains more info usually.
When I see something on the cloud app a lot of times key info such as load out, tow away and trailer type is missing but it will be on the dat post for the same load.
Po allows me access to something’s I don’t usually pull which I like.
I got a flatbed with a moffett now. Saw a posting earlier for an empty beverage trailer going to ND.
I kind of like the empty tow a ways, I get great mpg.

did a total of
5 loads. had some layover I didn't like because I couldn't find anything at times.
Very careful with my fuel prices.
Use mud flap now, got a prepaid efs card coming.
Only buy enough fuel at the truck stops to get me to a mud flap location.
Cloud has discounts at road ranger and loves. Haven't used a road ranger yet.
But for loves:
I bought 40.174 gallons at 4.039 getting 9.10 cash back on the purchase
Used that 40 gallons to get to Perrysburg where I bought 116.197 gallons at 3.40 at a mud flap location.
I want to know what my price is before I pump it.Last edited: Jan 29, 2022
markealy and peabody747 Thank this. -
Discount at Love's ends on the the 3rd and new discount with Pilo/Flying J being announced on 3rd as well to replace it.
RTS rep called today to walk me though the app and finish setup.
Took a look at fuel price map using RTS along with Mudflap should be able to get my best possible price.
I appreciate that Cloud is trying to get us discounts but so far the discount hasn't been the greatest I can get.
We'll see how it compares with RTS on the 3rd. -
Compared the fuel maps. RTS has some that even beat mudflap at mudflap locations.
Well worth taking the extra time to trip plan to get yourself the best possible price.
