Clutch nightmare

Service Manual attached- Pete manual but applies to all Paccar 2.1 M cabs with manual clutch

Mechanical linkages and heavy clutches make knee fatigue and wear a real thing. This is one of the major reasons so many veterans float. My dad always taught me to keep my GD foot on the floor unless I was taking off or backing up. Short legs make it that much harder depending on the truck. Hydraulic clutches were asked for by drivers and customers alike to make clutch action easier. Its not like engineers just put them in to cause more troubles. Generally speaking this system is trouble free and I don't replace many of these components.

That's what I wanted to see how that is set up and how that operates.

I can only say for myself I would never want such a thing and I'm very happy with my easy pedal clutch and my regular linkage.

Since I'm the guy that has to fix whatever happens, I stay very close with the theory simpler is better.

Hopefully they have this fixed up now for @Midwesttrucker .
