Well maybe there is some bashing going on but for me I just think it's people in general not necessarily just mechanics.

People nowadays often don't do their job well but even worse I think a lot of people just don't care.

Unfortunately that's becoming a society thing, not a mechanic thing.

Trust me the driver bashing the mechanics is nothing compared to the ragging that is going on in the shop with the top dogs..

Update: They took it all apart and the brand new servo that was put on was locked up. They went to get parts to change it out and when they got back it was freed up. They drove it around for 2 hours and it was working fine. So they parked it and are going to let it sit over night to see if it locks up again. He thinks it might be a bad air line or hydraulic line going to it causing it to seize. But will know more tomorrow.

Well, they put another new servo on it. I stressed making sure the lines were clear and working well. They drove it for an hour with an unloaded trailer and said all is well. Then, delivered it back to the yard.

In the morning my local guy is going to go do a pickup. I’ll report back with findings.

Now the Truck has reached research status. It’s obviously something no ones ever seen before. Rare event. They’ll figure it out. The suspense is killing me.

Bashing mechanics then asking for tech advice from mechanics......I love the ballsy concept. Just like drivers not all shops good. Even good shops have a bad day. Same as a good driver has a bad day.

Nuts and bolts part of working on #### can be very taxing, the few that understand the theory behind operation and are left to diagnose the problems that most others can’t is very mentally taxing.

There is way more to wrenching than buying a “full set of tools” which doesn’t exist trust me
