Yep, I agree. I went to a heavier-rated clutch, new not re-man, no clutch problems since then.

    Grubby and 201 Thank this.

I don't see on that invoice any charge for flywheel resurface. That should have been done. Very important .

I have what they call a "dual mass flywheel" on my pickup truck which I don't like one bit. It's yet another solution looking for a problem.

Grubby, 201 and Shock Therapy Thank this.

My parts house will not warranty a clutch unless the flywheel is turned.

    Grubby Thanks this.

Let’s say the flywheel has been turn and it has what else can be not letting the clutch fully engage and hold the flywheel from start off

Why would they replace all of those parts?

    It doesn't make sense.

I think there are a couple problems that could cause this - one is the flywheel is not cut right. I worked at a place that cut flywheels and they screwed up a few times. The runout of the flywheel has to be checked, and I bet they didn't do that.

The other thing is that the forks are hitting the clutch cover, but this would be obvious.

    Grubby Thanks this.

And ya know dang well they didnt do er for free! This is my vote 100% classic symptoms of clutch chatter from a glazed 'wheel...
