    Exactly. Here's what Cummins had to say a few years back. Accelerating-Start the vehicle from a standstill at the slowest engine speed that will move the load. Select a gear ratio that will permit starting the load without slipping the clutch.

    You take a road test with me and slip the clutch I'll stop you right there.
