Well said.

At my current company I was paid $150 and given meals and housing for 2 1/2 days. And my last load at Can't Manage #### wasnt scheduled with enough time for any kind of delay- the shipper was 7 hrs late in loading me, and the at dispatch tried to demand that I move with it even though my 14 was expired. Couldn't log sleeper as I was 'on-call' with the shipper, and the brokers kept calling me every hour wanting an update. ####### CMS tried to tell me to falsify my log to look like I had slept, and then 'suggested' that I use 'energy booster shots'. And then tried to tell me to drive 600 miles w/out stopping to pee of get lunch or fuel. That is what I meant by hot. If their logbook violations continue they'll be told to get elogs, and I think thatll be the nail in their coffin
-
But hey, those of you looking for an 'outlaw' company- even though they're a wannabe- Can't Manage ##### is your ticket! You have my pity. I won't run for a sorry-##### outfit like them again
-
Where's this company out of?
Edit: Never mind, I see your title.
-
And their sorry excuses for directions would've led me to a big field one time and a house the other time (I googled them first). And had no other info, like a customer name or ph #- getting that info from disp or brokers was like pulling teeth. It's been said many times in other forums and on FB- NEVER completely rely on a gps. The difference between these quacks and my current company is like night and day

Good god!!! Welcome to real trucking! Gro a pair and tell the broker you will call em when loaded! Why would u log on duty while at a dock, even if u r on call with the shipper?? The log book is your paycheck!! Duh.. Never ever waste it on anything but pre trip, fuel and drive time. That's it. The bare minimum u have to log.pes2 Thanks this. -
Again, welcome to truckin.
-
Uuuuumm, I NEVER said I logged on-duty for all time at the dock- the idiot company tried to tell me to and i refused- logged off-duty, like i've always done. I log BARE MINIMUM for on-duty time. And YES, I told the broker and dispatch I'd call when I was loaded and shut my phone off. And I'm NOT new to trucking. CMS is hardly 'real trucking', like I said they're a wannabeLast edited: Feb 2, 2012

U should have logged sleeper. U know what I am talking about. Read your own post! And obviously you are new to real trucking. U got spoiled working for the big junk carriers babysitting you. I suggest u go back to a big company that wants to hold your hand through every second of the day
pes2 Thanks this.
