    saw the video that started all that, feel bad for those guys. ever since the slowdown a bunch of the oil companies cut their rates big time, not just CNRL. these guys are running their bags off out here for Baytex in Seal Lake for pennies. used to be a good gig

    I was a directional contractor on some CNRL jobs, 2004-2008 (the good times) even then, they were cheap scabby ####ers! I could only handle 2-3 wells with them, then I had to tell my Ops manager to send me to Pengrowth Energy, Imperial or Pen-West so I could "decompress" for 6 months lol.

    My Dad did 2 jobs as a construction consultant for them, one in 2005 and one in 2010, swore "Never again" only company he swore off in 39 years of being a consultant.
