coast to coast

things arent working out for me here lost my job/truck homeless soon was thinking about it, how difficult would it be to hitch a ride from east to west leaving upstate SC to at least las vegas, then maybe washington state where i have good friends. ive got a few rides in the past from truckers. it seems to be quicker and safer than hitchin with cars, truckers tend to be at least a 100+ mile trip. and the conversation is always better.. if you have any suggestions, would really appreciate them
