Just curious, why are you considering going back to them then?
For me, I just need to get on with someone soon and I enjoy physical work. I see it better to have a physical job so it can relieve the mental part of the job and so I don't have to go somewhere to workout when the job shift is over.
What are their trucks like? Mack? Autoshift? Good or bad?

I've worked for them twice. I just called them and they said they had nothing to offer. in other words, they wouldn't rehire me. I've gotten a job with a small company. supposed to go out next week.
they have Mack Visions. the older ones are autoshift. the newer ones are ultrashift. I got along fine with the trucks. -
hello every one i am going to coastal transport in Savannah on the 31st this month and i was wondering is any one else going from tennessee

Are there any recent experiences with Coastal Transport (COMCAR)? I got a call from them today after applying a couple days ago. I like where I am working now but there are no flatbed positions open and that's really what I want to do, so I am considering it. I'm particularly interested in how they treat their drivers and how strict they are on logging (not pressuring you into running illegal). Thanks.

Nothing? One of their drivers is parked across from me, but he just put his curtains up so I think I'll leave him alone.

Yeha, I'm also looking into CT as I am from NC & their terminal is not to far away. What I'd like to know is more about their trucks: Fuel milage, inside the cab info (Sleeper area mainly), also about what they mostly haul besides "cunstruction materials".
Are we talking about lumber, steel, vehiclals, What???
What's it like having to deal with their dispatchers? are they the "I'm god" types etc. All of these are important about any company regardless of who you want to go to work for. It's how you are able to make an inteligent decision.
Thanks -
can you give me their website addy? thanks!
