Mike..You could always buy aa 55 zoom and sell the 35....
I sorta fell in that very same trap..I have my mfj and then bought the aa35 and decided the 55 was a nice valued step up..I dont think i had my 35 on a local for sale site more than an hr an it was sold...
I still got my mfj still,a fella wanted it but not a peep from him in ages..
Got a 29 cobra chrome with echo and a matching 250 midnight special and my baby stryker i should put up...Ill likely buy a 955 again for my pick up.. -
Yeah, I'm thinking about doing just that. What did your 35 bring? Mine is brand new really. Also, who did you buy yours from?
-
Got both the 35 and 55 from dx engineering..I took a loss but not much..
If you buy direct from rig expert you get free phone support,if you dont buy direct they make you pay..
Love this vid on the 55..

I'm not sure if I agree with this. The problem I'm having, is when he clipped the coax one last time. The X (reactance) went from 0 to a blank screen. I've been wondering why. I assume the X went from a positive number to a negative number, and the MFJ couldn't read it? At that point it would have been interesting to put a rig expert on the coax and see what it says. I think he should have put the pl 259 connector on when X was zero.

Oh im not saying its wrong or right,i just posted it for mike5511..

Good video! Thanks!! I bought my 35 from Rig Expert. They are a little higher on the 55 than the other sites.
