See, that's weird. From what I know and what I've experienced with wiring, the longer the wire, the more power loss you get. That's regular wire running power to an inverter, for example.

Naw not weird samething really just one pulls and one pushes on a inverter the longer you go the bigger the wire you need as with a cb like a base the longer the run the bigger the wire you need but that's where it stops lol

the pete and kw can still have the mirror mounts by installing a bird perch by removing 1 of the mirror bolts and then installing the perch in its spot. doing this obviously will change mounting locations so you will have to get you own good quality coax. -
There is a little trick you can use for unwanted threads....................skip them!

The cable is awesome but the ends are crimped that's the only down fall I've found but you can go to radio shack and buy new ends
