    ...and I'd like a 148F Gtl DX+...but THAT one seems real hard to find.

    Yea, I seen the DX+ on there. I'd like to have it..but that's way too rich for my blood. Heckuva lot more than I'd pay for it.
    ....at least at this point in time.

    Yep I like the 148 too it is very close to my GRANT LT and they are both good cb radios.

    I agree. The Grant XL and the 148 both made in the Philippines are great radios.

    Well i know i have a old SS 360 FM but can't find it. I was able to find a old President Grant i forgot i had. It's in pretty nice shape.

    Irondog..... I see 148f GTL DX +'s all the time on fleabay. It was made by Texas Ranger back in 87 for about 6 months i think. Same radio as the connex 4800dx but with less channels...

    Yea, I see them every so often, too. But....too rich for my blood.

    I have a 148F GTL DX+ that I would not let go for a dime less than $400...thats just what they are going for! NIB too...

    I love the Grant XL too, great radio.

    That is twice what I use to pay per piece for them when buying by dealer cases.If I'm not mistaken, isn't the RCI Superstar 158 EDX basically the same thing????


    The Grant XL/LT and early Cobra 148 GTL's are one of the best SSB CB radios ever made.
