I like it alot, I originally bought it when I was still in a Cascadia because the coil is 31 inches high but I didnt like it on the Cascadia because the shaft is really thin and it would whip around alot. I now use it on a volvo and it seems to work really well. I dont have any scientific methods or data to verify it, so this is subjective at best, but it may be one of the best atennas Ive used, it just seems to pick up alot of far off stations, once again subjective.

The top whip above the 6" coil is 18 " and is very easy to adjust for swr tuning, it is held in place with a screw that can be loosened with a regular screwdriver. I bought mine at cb shop in Jackson GA ( I 75 exit 201) located near the Loves, as I remember, I think I paid $39.99. As I mentioned earlier the shaft is pretty flexible, which sometimes can be a good thing if by chance you struck a tree branch or someting similar, it most likely will not break or snap off like a fiberglass antenna would. Overall if I had to rate it like they do on Amazon I would give it a 5 star rating out of 5.rabbiporkchop and Bout Z Thank this.

I highly recommend Hustler antennas. I've used them in the past with great results.
