I've read some posts that say the Stealth version should not be used with an amp and others that say they do use them with an amp. What's the deadkey on the Stealth? On my 29 HP version, it deadkeys at 2.3 watts and drives my amp just fine.

I have a Connex with the blue lights. Same complaint, too bright at night. I cut a little square of window tint film and put it over the channel LCD and its no longer a problem.
Pete_379X Thanks this. -
Gah.. I have the same problem with my connex 4300-300. I have been putting a blue shop towel over it at night.. never thought about tinting the lights though! Thanks for the tip! -

Truth is Carolina Thunder...This radio is not your "Daddy's 29". The final has been replaced with the New Mosfet Final, a Swing Kit, High/Low power switch, Talk Back, Pre-Amp, and Large Cap's for line noise, and filtering for bleedover...This is like the Cadillac of Cobra 29's!
(also Cadillac priced at $199)
