I put a little rm Italy stinger board in my 29 LX yesterday. It’s the same board as the kl203. It was a lot of fun. I haven’t had any problems out of it yet my meter is showing a little over 100 W pep but I didn’t get that until I cut the resistor off. Before I did that I was only getting about 55 W. Probably a big no-no, but I don’t really care. I get these radios from the truckstop with my points anyway and I only paid $50 for the amp. If this fails I will get a little external one, I just didn’t want to have something mounted on top of my radio and have multiple cables. Yes I’m aware of the heat and possible RF issues. My plan is to add a little 40mm fan to help cool things off. If I do it over again I probably will use the kl203 next time. I just had to get this out of my system

If the stinger doesn't work out for you, for sure get the 203P. It's still the best value on the market for getting heard on the road. I'm feeding mine about 2 watts, and it is happy as can be. So am I.

    Kevin83165 Thanks this.
