Cobra Electronics 7700 PRO GPS

when will this happen as errors like this cost us drivers in huge fines and points

 

Brian: An error with the map data...? ...you have checked and it looks like...? This demands an immediate update of the map database. How can you be so vage on such an important issue? You need to inform all your customers of this problem and fix it right away!

 

get the garmin and be happy. Im gonna send my improved Cobra 7700 to their experts . works muck better now ..its been run over and does not get me mad anymore

 

The Garmin is a POS too. They all drive you crazy. It does have more features than the Cobra.

They all suck.

Iam not a happy camper i just got your cd in the mail went to installed it and it couldn't find the .zff file or something. Went to turn it on and now it says no system file file with a yellow exclamation. I leave in 2 days and I depend on this thing. ideas?

Looks like the cd update really screwed this thing. Anyone able to zip up there files and email them to me at rhen@c-zone.net would appercaite it big time. In case Brian doesnt have a solution for me that might work.

3300 Elizabeth Way in Pittston Pa is not in the Gps directory. I am beginning to wonder about this unit. Is it becoming a brick? And has anyone heard from Brian? Has he abandoned us?

 

I sent my cobra 7700 Pro back to you with the return label you send am awaiting the check for the full refund. UPS tracking provided me that you did receive it and we enclosed the receipt for a full refund as you advised me to do. Can you please check on this and let me know. Looks like we could all be screwed now the 7750 is out they probably wont fix the problems with the 7700 what do you say brian are they going to fix it ????

 

I'f you look at the demo video on their website and read this thread, we were all used to make a better product. I think the 7700 and this thread was just a stepping stone to make a product that appealed to more people. Getting support on this unit and some other requested changes all went into the new model. I'f we are lucky they may throw us a bone and get one more map update. I generaly stay in the background, but all the requests for changes have been shot down oh can't do this, can't do that. All of sudden what we wanted changed appear in a new model. A typical large corp lingo for you are screwed with our garbage.
