Where can I get map update for this unit. Last week 3 times I end it up in residential area with my 18 wheeler. I can't get to places which were build in last two years. I can get better direction from my cell phone.

If you can give me some details then I can investigate. The issue may have been caused by something other than the map data. This information would be ideal:
- Starting city/state
- Destination address (complete address is best)
- Description of the problem and where it occurred

I am hearing a good amount of confusion over the use of gps. While only driveing big rigs three years, I have used gps units 15yrs plus. Sounds like some are expecting a gps to do all the routing work. Gentlemen it is a map. An electronic map so all your maps in one place. A suggested route to where you want to go or close is a work saving plus, check it then go. Go only after you check it out. How you check it is what makes you a pro. This 7750 is one of a new breed of gps, so much infomation available. Routing never 100% even when I do it myself, why we look to the gps. In an area new to you what are you going to do? If I have no time I rely on the gps routing and use my eyes to keep me out of trouble. Its fast and works if I can see and read alll signs. As an aid to ticket avoidance the 7750 should help. Five mile warning of weigh stations plus the nearest cat scale could have saved me the price of the cobra last year. I do not find posted speed limits on my cobra. In order to stay on the interstate as much as possible, I. Set it for shortest time, am I correct? Two days ago I purchased a new 5550 cobra. Could not hear it well in my truck and my mount position is far enough away I had trouble reading some of the print, so I turned it in for a 7750. The bigger screen and loud speaker take care of my issues. The 5550 warned me of a 12ft bridge ,in the area, when I turned in to park at a truck stop, so I went out the way I came in, never saw the low bridge. My standard gps took me to a 10t limit bridge, cobra took another route, there was a sign, because of the different route choice I was looking. So far good job. A shout out for the manager at wyoming, chyenne's little america, he went the extra mile to allow me to trade up to the 7750, customer service is still alive in america, well at little america at least.

Finding places ta or whatever, some will not show up in a TA search, because that is not the offical name of that location as turned in by owners. TA corporate stores are TAs. Try finding an ambest even more gas brands and names come in. Most like not the gps fault. Lovin my 7750

- Tap anywhere on the screen and you should be at the menu.
- Tap on ENTER ADDRESS.
- Tap on the State/ZIP field and enter the 2-letter abbreviation for the state. You should see the state listed. Tap on it.
- Tap on the City field and enter the name of the city. You don't need to enter the entire name, just the first few letters and then you can tap on the VIEW LIST button in the upper-right. You will see a list of towns that match. Tap on the desired town.
- Tap on the House No. field. Enter the house number, and then tap on the big checkmark on the right hand side.
- Tap on the big checkmark a few more time and it will calculate a route.
