I will have our engineers investigate. Regarding the map update, it will be released in roughly 2-3 months.

P.S. In the meantime, if you have not installed the latest software update please do so. It is available <here>.

A while back we did have a bug that was giving a 38 foot warning only in CA. Did you download the latest software? If not, please try it. I ran a simulation down I-15 into CA and I did not see any warning. I was using the latest software.

I saw a new model, 5.something inch screen designated 5550. I was wondering about the specifics. Price was about 100 bucks less than the 7750PLT.

The 5550 is a mini version of the 7750. It is based on a 5-inch platform vs. the 7-inch platform of the 7750. It retains all the software features of the 7750.

When are we going to get the BIG update.

I'm fixing to change this to a car. Cause a lot of roads have a weight restriction...
And are missing A LOT of truck stops as well. Their is a truck stop guide book u can buy and add all them stops in this update too. I have the 2006 version but the print is so small its hard to read.
I'm going to have the wife rewrite it bigger for me :)

I also checked out the TND and am thinking i made the WRONG choice in buying the 7750

    Hi Brian,
I am not computer saavy in any way, so taking a shot here. I just bought a Cobra GPS 7750 and I would like to know how to enter an address (House Numbers)...so I can save my pickup points and destinations. So far what I have read...this gps will not allow to enter house numbers. How do I update this gps? This thing is expensive, I hope Cobra doesn't charge more for updating. Thanks for any help.

ps: not real confident in how to ask questions on here.
