    Anybody know anything about this amp? From what I've read, it's a good clean amp. I think it would do great with the 2 watt DK on my General's lo setting. I've found one for sale for $200.
    Thoughts?

    You're going to hate me but .... yep I have one.

    It uses the same circuitry as the Palomar which is a knockoff of Motorola's design. It has four BJT, using mrf454s and in a class ab configuration. There are three or four knockoffs floating around cheap, very cheap and it is hard to tell the original from the knockoff.

    The original is an ok amp. it sounds clean but harmonics suck. The knock offs are worst yet, very dirty.

    I think 2 or 3 in with 100 out as every 454 amp does.

    Ok, so what's a good quality amp that matches up well with the General Lee?
