I see this in Texas 15on/8off, only 15/hr without OT to start. Aggregate isn't much better from what I've seen. Trying LTL soon lol

BigTennOTR and OPUS 7 Thank this.

I've worked for Pepsi in the sales/merchandising end and I wouldn't go back for driving. Too much stop and go for me and work as well.

    OPUS 7 Thanks this.

Warren Buffet is a big investor in Coke with his conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway. So I wouldn't be surprised if "Uncle Warren" has a crack the whip management team at Coke trying to squeeze out a little more profit for the shareholders every quarter. And that's what us working class people are here for, is to make the billionaires richer.
So you're story doesn't surprise me. But I'm like you. That 14/10 schedule wouldn't appeal to me, either. Good luck and find something that makes you happy.

My friend drove for Coke for 2 years near Boston, and quit because of EVERYTHING. He actually got a job driving a septic truck and was much happier

Sounds like they don't pay OT
...so it's a free for all, they will rag you out and wait for the next driver
....tell them you can't afford to mess your license up
After 12 hrs of local even within your 100 mile radius , you have to log it
If they are pushing you over your 14th hr, start turning in those dirty logs,
Tell your fellows drivers that if they have any kind of accident after that 14 th hr ( doesn't even have to be their fault) they will have their CDL stripped. indefinitely! and no longer ever be able to drive a semi again ....
No logs for 100 mile radius but after the 12 hr, they better have logs on file in that office,
Start taking notes and report their butts to the authorities for the sake of public safety and every driver involved in this mess
Also start looking for another job but i would make sure the authorities know what these people are doing while you look for employment after you get the next job turn in your notes and report a claim against them!
Remember on your notes you want names #s , dates, events and any detail will be helpful because one of the first things a DOT.investigator will ask them for is a record drivers logs they have in their files.
.....remember to fly low while making a case against them, keep smiling, keep it possitive on the way out the back door
There's better $ in LTL jobs anyway but you have to take your time finding a good fit and "keep your license & work history clean "

The warehouses don't get to dictate squat when it comes to HOS regulations. Remember that.
