That said, how many K9 units have you ever seen pulling over trucks for "traffic violations"?

 

K-9 units work regular shifts just like the other officers. How many drug runners screw up in front of a K-9 unit?

 

Same K-9 last year. He’s got many more under his collar.

I have often wondered why a drug smuggler would not be really careful and avoid giving a LEO a reason to pull them over?
I still think there was some forewarning to be on the lookout for this particular truck.

 

In my experience they only bring in the dogs when they're looking for something specific or you're entering a base or something.
