I made 1 out of S/S but it sticks out like a sore thumb with the chrome mirror brakets and the chrome base on the lights I'am wanting to use..

you can’t give away a cabover . -
Makes you be a careful driver .

They did ride nice
I owned one and drive it for several years
the set back axle and air ride drives made it ride like a greyhound bus .
Plus it was almost free . and I was running local and regional stuff . Sometimes bumping a dock or backing under a trailer 8 or 10 times a day so the short wheel base was very nice , and I didn’t have to open the driver door and lean out to see around the stacks when I was backing up like all the other drivers did .
Keep the vinyl cover on the doghouse shiny with armor all and you could slide right across it .
i also had a cabover that had the forward front axle and leaf spring drives , and it would beat the fillings out of your teeth .alds Thanks this. -
I remember BJ and the Bear.
Used to come on at 9 pm at night on CBS.
Of course usually at that time my parents sent me off to bed! lolLast Call Thanks this. -
Then you definitely won’t believe the 12.7 with a 120mm inducer turbo on it that turns 4000. I don’t know what that one puts out, it’s got lots of hard parts in it too. It’s in a pulling truck in Peterborough, Ontario. You don’t see big hp trucks where you live? There’s lots around here. Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec are full of absolute monsters. Ask any of these guys on here that run 5 axle freight trucks out west. I guarantee every one of them has had some guy with a 5axle log trailer crested off or a b-train with 50,000fbm on it drive away from them at least once.

We all enjoyed that when the east was 55’. I had a K100 that had a 16,000 front and 72” spread Hendrickson on 163”wb. Drive that across I-80 in Pa. your vision was blurred for 2 days.
