I didn't stop there. Here was an earlier 1978 4070 B I had a roof put on by an outfit called TTT tops in Akron OH in 1980.
Let's just say I was a little nuts. Never drove anything but a cabover in 45 years. My buddy says my brain has turned to mush.

For almost the entire 20 years I had the Argosy in the picture not a day didn't go by when someone remarked pro or con about them.
There is no middle ground. Love or Hate.
I always had one question for the guys who used to say "gee I wish I had my old cabover" as I was backing into a space in a full truckstop no one else could use.
"Where were you when we needed the sales?" -
i was born in '90.D.Tibbitt, mjd4277 and Studebaker Hawk Thank this. -
There are quite a few cabovers down in the south/southwest and southeast-I’ve seen a few Mexican carriers run them around the border in Laredo. They’d rather run that old iron than mess with the new stuff International has been putting out!
I’m kinda partial to cabovers myself-closest decent I could find near me is this bad boy!

I work on a old freightliner for a guy he’s rather large…I am about 6-3 and 200lbs and I can’t imagine driving one more than into the shop let alone living in it.
I am glad to see someone who values old dependable ironOxbow Thanks this. -
