    Gator, I don't agree with throwing straps over a tarp because I am afraid of them wearing holes into my tarps, but with 24 years experience I'm sure your well aware of what your doing and I could probably stand to learn a few things from you.

    I guess my more direct question is: what chain do you use that has a WLL of 20,000k? 3/4? What binders are you using? I would love to get my hands on ones with a 45,000k limit.

    I think you have your numbers messed up. 6cm thick chain would be almost 3 inches thick which is massive and if you can throw chain bigger than anchor chain then ####. I digress though you really need to check the working load limit of your chains before you get in trouble because it takes a big ### chain and binder to get those kind of ratings.

    Was never good with the metric system.

    As for the 20000 pound deal, my comma key sometimes won't enter. I'll edit it.

    Even if he did add zeros then he needs to get bigger chains as 1/4 inch grade 70 has a better wll than 2000 lbs.
