Cold and setting trailer brakes

    I never touch the air tanks in winter. The valves stick open when it is cold. You need to count on your air dryer to do it's job. Alcohol in the glad hands when temperatures are changing too.

    My tanks have a manual half turn valve they won't stick open, those pull valves with the cable tether I could see those sticking open and causing problems..

    I wouldn't pull the cable either but I do check for water on every pretrip and posttrip.
