No. It would fall under an exemption of having to provide air conditioning to sleeper when the driver takes his mandatory 10 hr break. Thats why its virtually unenforceable. CA does it the only way possible . When you have to get your truck updated and it would be silly not to reap the benefits of that update.

had truck in shop for b service PM told them about hte not idle at 20 said it should be, htink they fixed it, will have to wait till it gets colder to verify

shop did it good, its 27 outside and its idling, must have been a bad sensor. saw them change it part out for it. thanks for the tips guys,

With my 2019, Engine Idle Shutdown is bypassed at 20° F or colder. Just in case you want the simple answer.
Also, in the Summer it is generally set 72-75°. -
By default they are setup to idle below 20 and above 85. However, the employee manual says it should be set 35 and below and 75 and above to idle. You need to have the shop set it to those values and show them your hand book that says so. I think they want to let this slip under the radar, so you have to be proactive with them.
