Coldliner Express - stay away!

I think Butler Transport bought out Coldliner recently. I doubt they would extend any old third party references besides dates worked. Hopefully that can work in your favor.

 

Looks like you are correct on the purchase, happened back in May. OP may want to contact Butler with the screenshots he has of what is probably now managers at their terminal are saying they are going to do to ex employees.

 

Yes lie is better? Sounds like you have the same morals and ethics of the trucking company you’re complaining about.Why would you not give a notice and work it like a man who has ethics and integrity no matter what someone else does. I mean these bad companies did give you an opportunity when he obviously filled out an application and ask for an opportunity for employment.

 

Most trucking companies seem to operate as if you give them notice to bring you right in as quick as they can and part ways, as they don't are trying to avoid a driver deciding they don't want to work out the two weeks and leaving the truck somewhere. Current company if you give us 2 weeks we will run you and in the last week try to get you thru home so you can clear most of the stuff out so there is minimal you have to do when you get back.

 

How did you keep him from putting that on your dac?

 

Depends on the company, if your driving for say May Trucking, and there are several others, that will not assist drivers. And if thats the case then yes deal with them the same as they deal with you. You have to do what is best for you. Don't get on your highhorse, everyone is a liar, no one on this planet except for 1 man has lived there life without lieing about something.

Wrong place to come to plan the morality card. Here drivers speak frankly and openly,, I can tell you at Inland Xpress, Heartland, Valley Bulk you can tell them the problems and I found they work with you, But over the years I have wored for several that for some reasome would mess with drivers when they weere leaving.
