I am headed to my attorney's office on Saturday to file a 'hold harmless' brief. If an accident is caused while under control of my Merit Wabco OnGuard Active Braking device, it will be considered in court. $75. Money well spent.

I have a Volvo with this system installed. It's a POS I disconnected it. It dose lock the breaks with nothing around. Did it in the winter and sent me sliding toward a ditch! The only way to unlock the breaks is to step on the gas. I just unplugged the sensor in the bumper. Got a check light on the dash but every thing still works. Worst thing to put on a truck ever!!! I'll drive my own truck driver thank you very much!

I have a brand new Freightliner with all this #### on it. I am so sick of the brakes slamming on I could just scream. I am getting used to the situations it might occur in, and just step on the gas when I feel like I'm going to get slammed. That solves it but not always. Sometimes it just bounces my nose off the steering wheel, totally unexpected. I've #####ed to the boss about it, nobody cares. My argument is 2 fold.
First, if you took me out on a test drive to get a job driving for you, and once or twice I just randomly slammed on the brakes for no reason, would you hire me? Second, I drive 555 miles a day. On average, it happens 3 times per shift, I'd say. So not ONE TIME in the first 50,000 miles of this truck's life has that system been correct when it decided to do its job NOT ONCE. It has been wrong 15 times a week for several months. Am I allowed 15 gross dereliction errors in my job each week?
