Columbia door issues

Worn hinges and/or latch/striker. Easy fix w/new parts & some common sense.

 

The doors on these trucks were poorly designed and what you desrcibe is a common issue. A lot of times the plastic would break where the linkages pivot and 5he best thing to do at that point is buy a new panel. Also, if this is your first time working on these doors it is much easier to have another set of hands to help!

 

I've got the same issue in a columbia except not as pronounced as yours..put a new hande on it seemed to help a little but still have to pull the door while pulling up on handle.

 

The inside handle piviot is in door pannel. Why idk its retarded. New pannel will fix it. But if it has some miles might wanna do hindge, latch, pannel,and stricker. Window reg maybe. Then you would take it a part again for sometime. Be back to like new.
