:biggrin_25511:Bummer... Well, looks like I'll be coming to orientation a week from this Monday. That is assuming orientation is held on Monday's only.

Nice, congrats! Yeah orientation starts on Tuesday but you travel on Monday. If you have the money I suggest driving over the bus. You'll be stranded at the hotel if you have no car and it's boring. It's a decent hotel though, with indoor pool.

    Good luck though.

I'm in NC so I'm at the mocksville terminal, maybe we'll cross paths

    ynkedad Thanks this.

I honestly don't know. I'd say yes because you go all over the East Coast. I've been all the way to Florida and been to Maryland today

    ynkedad Thanks this.

Hey snows, what's up. I have some questions for you about your set up in the truck. How did you plug in everything you have in there (cooler, TV, microwave) do you have a game system or DVD player? If so, include that too lol. I know there is an inverter built in already but I was told it only runs 2 hours then is disabled for 10. is that true?

Thanks in advance for your help

A little off topic, but I'm happy to share my setup.

Cooler plugs into a 12-volt receptacle on the passenger side front of the bunk. TV plugs into a 12-volt receptacle located next to the TV mounting bracket. The microwave plugs directly into the inverter on the driver's side front of the bunk. The power TV antenna plugs into the inverter via an extension cord running under the mattress. I have a 12-volt 3-way splitter plugged into the dash for the GPS, phone charger, and laptop charger. The DVD player is built into the TV and I don't have a game system. I find that I just don't have as much free time as I expected since I work 12-13 hour days.

The inverter runs 2 hours and then shuts down for 10 hours. Again, there just isn't much opportunity to run it for more than 2 hours as a time. If you use it for an hour at night, then you still have an hour left before the 10-hour reset the next morning.

Yeah it's a little off topic lol but I'm supposed to get my truck this week so I just want to make sure I have everything I need. Don't want to get in the road and have to buy something extra from a over priced truck stop....so your TV has a12 volt plug? Did you buy that at a truck stop?

Thanks again for all your help. I really appreciate it... What terminal you out of again? I'm in mocksville, maybe I'll run into you sometime.

Yes I bought the TV at a truck stop. 12-volt with built-in DVD player and it fits the wall hanging bracket perfectly.

Definitely give me a shout if you see my truck, 2127. I'm out of Bridgeport but seldom stop by there. Good luck getting a nice truck of your own.

Snows, I want to thank you for taking the time to provide us with all of this information. I'm torn between going to CT and McElroy and every bit of knowledge helps. I really appreciate your positive attitude too.
