I see they’ve occasionally (not every time) been charging me a $1.50 fee even When I buy fuel at a truck stop that accepts Comdata. What gives with that? Can’t even buy fuel with my fuel card without a fee? ROFL!

The little I know. Com data fees are high.
Talked with a small store with truck pumps. He said Com Data wanted $5k a year just for him to accept it. There was no way he could afford it. -
When I was at Landstar we did not pay to buy fuel on Comdata. We prepaid Comdata card for each trip. We had to pay $1.50 to load the Comdata card with money.

It depends on who is providing the fuel card. I have a efs card and it’s free in network and $10 out of network.

use EFS or NASTC. Or your own personal or business CC or debit card if you own your own truck.
Comdata no good. Bad bad bad -
Our company switched to EFS because of the comdata fees.

YA atm fee PLUS camdata
so about $7 on fees to use a atm -
Comdata charges me a $3.50 fee to pull money out of an ATM, plus the ATM fee, unless you use one of the ones they have at Walgreens or CVS. I forget what it’s called but it has the green and yellow logo. But you still pay the Comdata fee.
Often they charge me $3.50 also to transfer funds to a linked bank account, if I do it too often. Fair enough...I do it once a month and dodge that one.
They also charge my company $.50 to load funds onto the card.
But $1.50 fee to buy fuel really burns me. That’s nonsense.
