1. I DIDN'T STOOP TO CALLING ANYONE NAMES. YOU DID
2. I originally gave you the benefit of the doubt with regard to "Nassar race" I actually assumed it might be something with which I wasn't familiar. So, I Googled it, then I did a Bing search and I came up with nothing. I just did it again with the same result. It was then that I thought you had made a typo. So you beloved sport is obscure at best.
3. I could give 2 sh!ts about your resume.
My point stands.
You tried to manipulate people by throwing compliments to get their attention and followed with your complaint. This is a very common tactic used by people who believe themselves superior.
So right now I'm going to pull up your profile and hit "ignore" so that I never see another one of your posts YOU ARROGANT MANIPULITAVE ###
EDIT
I just noticed you didn't even ask people to turn off their jakes you told them to do so. More proof of your arrogance.
Come On Guys-Seriously

I run straights, and always will. I jake coming down the off ramp because these steering wheel holders that park on the shoulder half out in the lane deserves to hear them!
379exhd, Snailexpress, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Actually you did.
You insulted me for the fact that I'm from California.
Then assumed that all truckers interested in NASCAR racing were lowly truckers.
No where in my post did I tell them to turn off their jakes, I said they should use some common sense when coming into truckstops at night because other drivers were trying to sleep and didn't need to hear them rolling in a quarter mile away. -
Dang, you're shooting duds if you can't produce a male child, keep trying and maybe you'll do it rightSnailexpress and lester Thank this.

Well that escalated quickly.

Jaking in a truckstop is more of a showboat thing than anything really. It's not too often that a truckstop property on such a grade to require a jake when rolling on it.
Some trucks do have the jake set to where the engine is snubbed down in RPM for downshifting quickly. You would have to turn it off then wait for it to come down to shift. Some drivers wont do that. It's a human thing.
Im not making excuses or defending. Usually there is no point for jake inside a truckstop. Usually.
If you are living next to one in a house and don't like trucks, I suggest with respect you can move. Or buy the truckstop and close it down. =) Isnt America great!
Anyway, the straight pipe situation is something I don't mind too much because I am literally hearing impaired and it does not bother me at all. Now some of you drivers with good hearing have to have a headache after a day listening to the thunder.
Trucking exhausts did change quite a bit in the last 40 years. It talked to you in the old days before computers the song did tell you how it's doing. If it's taking sick, you can hear that too and generally know what is the matter. Today's trucks are muffled to where they can whine at best. Not exactly conductive to keeping a man card current lol.
Im not here to give you a hard time, you will get enough already as it is. Self expression is one thing that is being suppressed in this Country over the last few years and frankly I think the People have had enough. So they make a little noise.clausland Thanks this. -
I very seldom use my Jake's if a man drives with half sense he really don't need them. Like posted if your hang-in out in the lane yea I'm gonna rattle your windows
