Comet 200 amp

Well I've been talkng to a couple other guys on here about my little Comet 200 and one fella seems to think the Comet hooked up to Galaxy and matched with a 2-3watt deadkey should talk about 150watts and possibly swing close to 200watts, what do any of you all think? Have any of you had experience with Comet 200's and know if they sound good? I've heard it's a class C Amp that tends to make you sound muddy and over modulated, anyone heard this or anything different? I haven't used the amp before, I just found it in my garage I must have forgot I bought it sometime in the late 90's. My galaxy is a older 33HML and I've used it for years and I know theres much better out there but it does just fine for me. I just want to be kinda loud and clear and try and get out as far as possible with this setup. I think I'm going to run a Wilson 2000 unless any of you have a better suggestion, the antenna is the one thing I need to buy so please feel free to give me your experiences and suggestions.
