Comfort Items for OTR

I did a search on Amazon and found this:

I also found a Skyworth 7 3/4" Magnetic Mount Mobile TV Antenna Kit KL066 at roadtrucker.com. It comes with 100' of coax.

There are a lot of tv tuners out there and Hauppage is a good brand and if there is not much difference in price, I go with the best one.

As far as portable toilets go, Walmart has a portable chemical for 24.88 that looks like a 5 gallon water jug. Get the Ozark Trail Double Doodie Bags and your all set.

 

For anyone who asked about the camping toilet. I bought this one also sold at Wal-mart for cheaper (About $25). [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Products-Collapsible-Portable-Toilet/dp/B0024OAQ3Q[/ame] It folds up to save space for easy storage. It uses a twin bag with kitty litter to kill odor. No flushing, bags are small enough to seal & drop into any size trash can. No one will ever know you were disposing of your transgressions.

 

I was wondering if anyone ran fans at night while they are sleeping? I'm going to start over the road soon and can't sleep unless I have air on my face. Anyone have a suggestion for one that wont take up a lot of space

yea go to a TS and buy the little black Road Pro Value pack! I paid $18 for it works great, its about a 6-8" fan, it has a big clip and a screw on mount if you wanna go that way, it also occscilates! and the value pack comes with a 12V splitter

NOTE: DO NOT buy the fan seperate! The one NOT in the value pack LOOKS the same but it is not, the wire and plug on the fan are far to small and will break within a month been there done that. Pay the extra $4 for the bonus pack!

With a fan you can keep from idleing when the temps are hight just by keeping the hot air moveing past your body.

Mine has saved me about 40 +/- Idle hours a week since i got it!

If you are running an APU I would suggest the Oreck air purifier. I have one by my bed and it cleans the air as well as provide a good air flow. It smells like clean mountain air.

You can check out roadtrucker.com. They have a lot of electronics for the truck. Also Amazon has a bunch of 12 volt fans. Take your pick.

I'll have to do the same as well. I sweat pretty easily and use a CPAP so the air helps.

 

Kitty litter, huh? You bet I won't be digging in like my cat does.

 

I find a lap top is great, i can skype with the old lady and my son, my xm radio is the best, its relatively inexpensive, and i get comedy sports ect, and out side of that, this may sound funny but outside your normal ( attire) i keep one set of nice clothes just for the day i dont feel like dressing in my pajamas, lol
