I never knew gaming chairs were such an important thing.
Back in the NES days of my childhood I would sit on the floor Criss cross my legs for the better part of 8 hours or more.
Than life happened and, I just never liked the new style games like Overwatch, and Paladence.

As a company driver it really depends on the company. My last otr company, which is about to drop off my ten year history, would have been ok with it. They were great with everything but getting me home on time

Next time you go to Walmart or something you can pick up one of those armchair looking pillows, they're decent and I used one for a long time until I got a flat top sleeper, now that I'm back in a studio sleeper I might get another.
Labrador Thanks this. -

Laptop went into the steering wheel. Then when that's done stays there until cooled down. (CPU underneath gets very hot)
Television is watched from a corner opposite in the bunk. Generally enough padding etc to get into a good spot. -
Not related except the steering wheel.
I used to do my logbook on the steering wheel. In any trucks build prior to the cascadia. The best for this was the century, and FLD. -

Lordy, if you guys ever had to get comfortable and sleep in a B model mack, you would swear you had all the comforts of home in the truck you drive. lol
WesternPlains and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
One R Model I was given has a wood bench for going across both seats, you cat corner on to it and got what you could. I remember one morning left at 2 am into a storm that had dumped 2 to 3 feet onto I-70 from Newmarket to Beltway and it was a epic battle. Made it to one of the Caton Ave exits (Blue Circle was the goal..) and got some sleep. The next driver dispatched there woke me up after about two hours. The snow situation was not good at all. But we went, got the loaded 80000 pounds then delivered to TBH in Westminster south and the first thing the one worker there said. WTF did you get here TODAY!?
Figures, everyone else stays home for a sick day, but this idiot rolls on. What snow? lol.
And good morning to you too... Mr grump... No one else was moving and here I am setting up on their silo. Im just glad I don't deal with those people any more than I had to. Normally I would say several times a year that bench came in handy. If the company bought small sleepers I would have stayed in the truck and home on weekends, get more sleep that way.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
