    I think it depends on your bank. Mine is available to me on Thursday morning but my sleeper team partner has his on Wednesday morning.

    Well guys, got my feet wet yesterday. Went to Nashville, TN & back (600 mi). Piece of cake. Blown away how nice & helpful all the peeps are. I think I'm really gonna like this job. Went & got me an adapter today to hook my cell phone onto the CB posts. Didn't know the trucks don't have cigarette lighters or radios. Looks like I'm gonna have to build me a 'slip seat box'. Tried to find me a cheap 12v portable stereo but had no luck.

    sweet deal... some trucks do have the cigarette lights... What truck did you use... Did you use a newer roadway unit(blue) older roadway unit(orange and blue) or a Yellow truck. Some of the older trucks dont have them, if it becomes your permanant truck you can install your own radio in it, and I tried telling you theres no radios LOL. But good luck

    Both trucks were the blue Roadway Volvos. Man, I wish I could come up with a cheap solution til I can have someone build me a nice slip seat box unit. I'm sure it's against the law to wear my cell phone plugs. lol

    Glad you had a first trip. Did you see the link I posted for you to find a slip seat box?? It is illegal to wear earphones but a lot of guys do it including me. You got real lucky your first trip out. You just did a turn instead of a lay down. Real sweet run. Again, welcome aboard.
