Well thats the first sign of a company that doesnt care . Your just 1 driver of cpl thousand employess. Good luck tho.Hopefully you will learn your lesson. In todays economy theres to many hands in the cookie jar. Some of these big companys can afford to sit 10% of the fleet and still make money. Hopefully you wont be 1 of the 10%.Small companys cant afford to let there drivers sit so you stay moving more often. Every truck has to make money for the company to stay above water.just my 2

Well, enjoying the last day with my wife for several months. She will join me on the road once I get a solo truck. Been fighting a cold/cough (over the cold - just got the bad cough that won't go away), so my blood pressure has been fluctuating above the 140/90 mark even with medications (because of the cough medicine). I just hope that they don't send me home for it.

Leaving Sunday morning very early in the morning. Will be traveling on the dirty dog until 11:00 that night when I arrive. My recruiter, Sheryl, got it arranged so I wouldn't be traveling in on Monday so it'll give me extra time to rest. Since I'll be there all day Monday, what do you think I should do?

This is only my opinion: 140/90 isn't good, I would talk to the recruiter, maybe wait????

All ready talked to the recruiter. Because I went over 30 days ago and started a blood pressure medication, I should be fine. Taking my doctor's info just in case.

Best of luck, yes doctors info and phone number. Getting there a full day early will help you rest and unwind. Do what the doctor told you to do and get a full nights sleep before you go in. Others who are in your situation have posted helpful advice like being hydrated etc......

I wish you the best, good luck!
