My Dm always told me to not do anything going to Laredo...unless I wanted to sit for a few days. My brother lives in Dallas so I never minded a few days off there. Yeah it seems like the planners never really get together with the dm's and just send you were ever they feel like...Sucks huh

Yes it does, but my argument was why can't you bobtail me to San Antonio? Only 150 miles....why keep revenue and a driver down being cheap when you recoup that 15 gallons it took to San Antonio n the next load

As for Hometime and loads if u have a good relationship you should have no problems my DM knows me by name when I call and takes care of me and even hooks me up off of Hometime, I know it sucks for the ones that don't have this kind of DM and all DMs should be like this to all their drivers.

Have friends with Swift same terminal but different DM and and can barely make 2000 miles a week I average 3000 sometimes up to 3600 a week if I don't have a load I call my DM or I bug the #### out of dispatch til I get 1

I have the same situation with my DM and the people in the bullpen at my terminal. I went out of my way to be Frank, not a driver or truck number. The rare times I have to call in I say, "This is Frank.", and the reply is usually how-ya-doin' and small talk followed by, "What's your truck number, again?"

By the way, my terminal is the one y'all refer to as the Black Hole, the place you never want to go, the place you never want to be mt on Friday. I like it.

    Frank
