The traffic is ALWAYS going to be like that. You have to let everyone go, or you will have accidents if you push back. Welcome to trucking.

Young people always in a rush.
    Smooth. Make smooth.

Learn how to love yourself. Every morning look into the mirror and say “you are wonderful. You can do this!” Ok? I heard this works from @Moose1958

Dont worry about mistakes, every9makes them , dont hurt yourself or kill anyone. Time will iron out your skills, learn from your mistakes and move on. And dont let anyone tell you they never made mistakes. We all have.

Quite a few times. Wait 'till you drag a chock halfway across the yard.
I drove...a few miles...with the tractor brakes on. I remember thinking, "Man, this snow is deep and heavy...!!"
We've all tried and died on that one, more than once.
Just ONCE?? It's almost a daily occurrence for me.
One thing you've learned: Mirrors cause blind spots--look twice. Two things to learn:
    a) How to properly use a roundabout. (Traffic in the circle has the right of way. That's pretty much it. Now you know.)
    b) That no one else in America has any idea how to properly use a roundabout, or likely ever will. DAMHIK.

You'll do fine. We all make mistakes, and as long as you learn from them and no one gets hurt, it's all part of life.

I was repowering a load at our Laredo terminal(my home terminal) and went to introduce myself to my driver manager. Hung out for several hours and then sent a macro 30 to get a load offer... ah it’s already here, let me drive over and couple the trailer. Release the brakes. On second thought, it’s a long way back from where that trailer is to get the bills... let me just run in and grab them.

Lock the door with the truck running and run inside. Grab my bills and walk back to where my bobtail was... now an empty spot. Looked high and low for it. Maybe I’ll ask this crowd of mechanics around the bobtail that is wrecked into 3 freshly PMed trailers...

Oh hey, there it is... ripped the entire side of my bobtail off. Being Swift, they gave me a new truck. Like brand new. Their biggest concern was that I posted pics of it on the Swift flatbed private group. Made me take them down and mercifully somehow I avoided a preventable on my DAC. It was only a matter of time though, because I got one that I didn’t earn on there where someone hit me. Karma I guess, catches up with us all.

Set your ####ing brakes! Now it’s like wiping my ### after taking a ####. I’ll be in the shower at Loves and panic like oh #### did I set my brakes... still to this day.
