Companies currently using driver cameras...

Great Plains has them, I found out from their thread.

 

It's gotten to the point where it's easier to list who doesn't have them

 

Better to find out which companies are insane with the cameras lol we have them at fedex ground but only for accidents...iv worked for a company that wrote up for any and everything though

 

Might be a good ideal to list the ones with driver facing cams and microphones. Forward facing are bearable, spying and driver gotcha cams...NO!

 

At Linde this supervisor showed me a drive cams transmisssion from one of their trucks. Audio and video very clear and speed, direction and most of the gauges show up. It's pretty creepy. They did not have a green or red light to let you know the camera was being monitored so the poor driver had no clue I felt for him. He wasn't doing anything wrong but he was being watched close up while just driving mumbling to himself listening to the radio. It's just not right. Let them have all the cameras they want facing out, I welcome that BUT let me pick my nose in peace please.

 

Walmart uses camera they even have them on sides and up front

 

Walmart does not have a camera facing the driver. We have cameras too all facing out and around the vehicle. I don't know many that have in facing cameras. Linde does which is so them. Micromanage everything

 

Q carriers have them facing drivers with microphones.

 

Good luck getting drivers! They can have their cameras but I'm not driving one with inside camera. The day they put a camera in the office that lets me watch them at will without their knowledge then I'll give in.
