And according to the news release, Lytx launched a new enhancement service to DriveCam in 2017 called “Lytx Video Services”, which gives managers access to “cloud-connected, continually recorded video, available on demand and in near real-time.”
Is there anyone who didn't see this coming? For years the companies that installed them said they were only able to see "event triggered" clips that were sent to them by Lytx. That may have been true, but NOW the ability is there for them to watch continuous footage in near real time.
It gets worse every day anymore...Last edited: Mar 11, 2018

If it hasn't been posted yet, I believe NAPA Transportation out of Mechanicsburg, PA has cameras. One drove by me in the Flying J tonight, and I saw the big black box with a red light on it on the windshield.

WW Transport using driver facing cameras. Worse is they let idiots watch it.
My terminal manager has never driven a truck. In 5 years he has learned nothing. He watched my road test when hired. I never drove: a 18 wheeler in rush hour traffic in a major metropolitan city...a fully loaded trailer...or a ten speed before. He watched me trying to drive a ten like a 13. Said I had trouble shifting and needed an automatic. Laughably incompetent decision.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
