@Texas_hwy_287 Thanks, according to the evidence here on TTF, you are correct: YRC does not have driver cams.

The way the list works, whoever posts the next update will read through all the posts (including this one) that appeared since the last update, and edit accordingly.

The post that got YRC on this list is now 3 1/2 years old:

    Companies currently using driver cameras...

A more recent post claims they don't have any driver cams:

Companies who do NOT have driver facing cameras or voice recorders.

Yet 3 years after your post they still have Maverick on their list here.

Just because TMC,Melton, Boyd and McElroy do doesn't mean all of us do.

I haven't even heard that they are considering it in the past 5 years.

RE West uses front and dfc but once u get used to it, it's not an issue as long as ur not doing stupid stuff. The only time I set it off is when I misjudged a stale green to yellow light and got hard on brakes and when I'm hooking up to a really heavy load. Beyond that, I almost never see it turn red(that's when its flagging an event and stores the data to my knowledge)

I dont see these cameras going away. It's a way of protecting the company when something goes wrong. If used properly, there is nothing wrong with them. Problem comes in when they try and use them to micromanage or act like dicks. But if said company does that I k ow where the door is. I dont need to work for a company that will abuse that technology. Me personally I have 0 issues with them bc I feel I'm doing my job and not screwing around tryin to txt or God knows what while driving. I think this is just something that we will have to live with eventually, just like standard transmissions becoming harder and harder to find. Again it's a money thing for the most part I believe(I'm sure there is other agendas at work also).

Add Hogan Transports to the list.

They've had the cameras as a "Pilot program" for a while now, but all of their newer trucks should have them, and they're just now getting rid of all the 2014 trucks (was in a manual 2014 and just had to transfer to a newer truck (2019 w/ ~76,600 miles already on it) that's an auto because one of our customer accounts "went away" so now we have 50+ newer trucks and no one to drive them, so they decided to get rid of the older trucks). Almost all the newer trucks are dark blue, all of them have auto trannies, and if it doesn't have a camera yet, it'll probably have one soon, and based on general conversations (and the workhound feedback), they're here to stay.
