Does anyone know which companies don’t use recruiters to hire?

    Most of them don't.
Submit the application that's on the trucking company website.

Looks like you have been at it awhile. I am wondering your opinion on who I should look at for CDL training and what company is best for pay and everything? Thanks so much for any help!

If you want trucking company cdl school, look at Schneider Bulk. Tanker experience and you'll always have great paychecks your whole career.

Your cart is way ahead of your horse. Get your license, if you're still in the industry in a year then look around. Where I work they won't look at anyone without 5 years experience. Here's the thing though. Trucking is trucking, they're all the same. Go to one of our driver meetings and you'll hear guys complain about everything. Everything. It's like a thread here about Swift, woe is me.

If you're looking for happiness, I'd suggest marrying a stripper and getting a job that doesn't require drug testing.

If you don't want a hair follicle drug test, better go with Stevens Transport.

Thanks man, I am doing serious research before I make a move. I have been in the military, been in management, engineering, and I know how to drive and work hard. I am not a whiner/complainer I always do my best and keep a great attitude. I have money to pay for my school and will get my own ride after I get some experience. I have just read some horror stories in here and I want to find the right company.
