Recruiters can't tell you.much of anything about a trucking company. They have a list of requirements to get hired, average pay, hiring areas. You need to talk to current working drivers. Ask the company to put you in contact.

I worked for them for 18 months before they laid me and others off. That was my first tanker job.

The winter before, they were asking the local drivers to go OTR with really good pay for a few months, I volunteered and it was the easiest money all drop and hooks with some live unloads. I was given a brand new truck with 20 miles on it. Florida to TX, AL, MI mostly I think I was getting .70cpm plus hourly for unloading without unloading myself. I ended up staying out longer than the other local drivers, I stayed until February. After going back to local, a bunch of farms were shutting down near Avon park, that's where I reported to, but I was 1 out of 3 drivers in Orlando. In May 2022 they laid off all 3 of us and shut down the Orlando yard. I kept in touch with a few drivers and later on more drivers were laid off, some with 10 plus years on the job. So maybe farms closing had to do with it but I think also money issues. It was the only job I really enjoyed. And I missed it for a long time. I thought about contacting them but as a local the pay wasn't the best so I rather find something else.
