Company CSA score

    If a company CSA scores determined only when trucks are inspected at weigh stations? Also how long does it take for a companies score to go up or down after inspections have been completed.

    Usually a month or less. The inspection results are sent to FMCSA no later than 30 days after the inspection.

    BTW, its not just inspections at weigh stations. Its any CVSA or FMCSA inspection done anywhere by any LEO. Thats why its really unfair that cops who know very little about trucks can write "warnings" that negatively impact CSA.

    It can take alot longer than 30 days, as a company owner we have had inspections that took 3 months to show up, (the bad seem to show up faster that the Good) our last from Tx took almost a full 3 mon, we past with flying colors and it was noted on the report that no cvsa sticker was issued, even though we demanded under the federual regulations, the officer refused and said it was up to them, not Fmcsa regs. I called every office in Tx and just got the run around from everyone on this and never got any where, just keep the report in the truck.
