Not sure how many they have available. Most people come in on the l/p. The trucks are T660 Kenworths. Years range from 2009 to 2011. -
I appreciate the answer. The last thing I need is another bill thats why I just want to be a company driver for now. If I can get some bills paid off then I wouldnt mind looking into the LP but like I said, the last thing I need is another bill.

Did recruiting tell you that you would be coming in as a company driver? If so, they should have a empty company truck.

When I filled out app I put company driver. I called Monday and she said the app looked good and I told her I wanted to start orientation on the 23rd, she said she would put me on the board and told me to call her back this next Monday but NO she never said anything about me coming in as a company driver.

I was in the yard a few days ago and there were ten company trucks sitting there you could get anything from a pro-star to a new kenworth.Looks like they had a mass company driver quitting spree.
-
Actually I think those are empty from the company drivers getting in new trucks so they are getting switched to lease trucks. Just have not had numbers changed. I know one guy that was not happy because he had to switch from a Prostar to a T660.

I have seen several new trucks the last couple of weeks. I believe they are switching out new trucks with company drivers. I'm in route to pick up a lease truck in TN. I believe the guy is unable to drive and is leaving.

Yeah,I had a driver at the yard tell me some company drivers had quit and I should'nt repeat rumors when I don't really know. But there were the most trucks I've ever seen there.2 prostars,2 or 3 brand new 660's and then 4 or 5 used 660's all had company numbers on them.Bigkid is probably right that they were switching out alot of trucks.

The trucks do have APU's on them. You are not forced to have hazmat. We don't haul very much at all. I have only hauled one hazmat load.
